The project
What Passivae is
Passivae sits somewhere between a professional network and a freelance marketplace. Recruiters run their own communities and invite talent to join them, then send talent proposals to the jobs companies post. The recruitment pipelines and the applicant tracking are built into the platform.
Before Passivae, recruiters did this by hand. Candidates were tracked in spreadsheets, communities were scattered across chat groups, and nothing connected a proposal to the job it was written for.

What made this one different
One pipeline, two sides
The hardest part was the built-in pipeline and applicant tracking. Its stages and hand-offs had to make sense to a recruiter managing talent and to a company comparing proposals, at the same time.
Community before job board
Each recruiter owns a community and invites talent into it, so a candidate arrives through a person rather than a listing.
