    1. Scope

    This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the CoRemote website at https://coremote.io (Site), including forms, email, and optional analytics or marketing tools we embed. It does not cover information processed solely under a separate client agreement (e.g., a signed statement of work); those engagements are governed by that contract.

    2. Information we collect

    Depending on how you use the Site, we may process:

    • Contact and inquiry data: name, email, company, message, and similar fields you submit via contact or proposal forms.
    • Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, general location (e.g., region from IP), pages viewed, and referring URLs.
    • Communications: records of email or messaging with us in connection with the Site.
    • Social media management data: CoRemote may use internal social media management tools (e.g., Postiz) to schedule and publish content on CoRemote’s own social media accounts. In connection with that activity we may process account identifiers (obtained through the platform’s official OAuth authorization), content we create for posting, media files, posting schedules, and engagement or analytics data returned by the platforms. This processing is subject to the relevant platform’s terms.

    We do not intend to collect special categories of data (e.g., health) through the Site. Please do not submit such information unless we explicitly request it.

    3. How we use information

    We use information to:

    • Respond to inquiries and provide information about our services
    • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
    • Schedule, publish, and manage content on CoRemote’s own social media accounts through internal tools
    • Measure traffic and engagement (where analytics are enabled)
    • Send newsletters or marketing only if you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

    4. Legal bases (where applicable)

    If GDPR-like rules apply, we rely on legitimate interests (operating the Site, security, analytics), contract (steps before a contract), or consent (e.g., non-essential cookies or marketing), as appropriate to the processing.

    We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can control cookies through your browser settings where applicable.

    6. Sharing of information

    We may share information with:

    • Service providers who assist us (e.g., hosting, email delivery, form or CRM tools, analytics, and internal social media management software such as Postiz), subject to appropriate safeguards
    • Social media platforms where we connect CoRemote’s accounts through their official authorization flows, subject to their terms and privacy policies
    • Professional advisers when required (e.g., legal, accounting)
    • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

    We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration as that term is commonly defined in privacy laws.

    7. International transfers

    If we transfer personal data outside the Philippines or your country, we will do so in accordance with applicable law and appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions), where required.

    8. Retention

    We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Technical logs may be retained for shorter security windows.

    9. Security

    We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

    10. Your rights

    Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact hello@coremote.io. We may need to verify your request.

    11. Children

    The Site is not directed at children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

    12. Third-party services

    The Site may embed third-party scripts (e.g., analytics). Their use is subject to their privacy notices. See also our Cookie Policy.

    13. Changes

    We may update this policy by posting a new version on the Site and updating the “Last updated” date.

    14. Terms

    Use of the Site is also subject to our Terms of Service.
